The Marvelous Unspeaking Troupe of Entertaining Scoundrels (or M.U.T.E.S.) are the nation's premiere silent film sketch comedy troupe. Taking inspiration from the actors and films of the silent era, The MUTES bring their own original scripts to life on stage, or as roving entertainment at festivals. The MUTES have performed at Turner Hall as part of the Milwaukee Film Festival, down in Evansville, IN with the Drop Dead Darlings burlesque troupe, in the 4th annual Milwaukee Comedy Festival, The Vic Milford Variety Show, and shows with The Brewcity Bombshells, and The Alley Cat Revue Milwaukee. You may also have glimpsed them hanging around Milwaukee's Pridefest and Kenosha's Blooming Days Festival.
